That's always been the case though, it's not something new for parents to now not allow kids to play these 18 rated games. It's the parents at fault in the first place for allowing them to play the games.I don't believe violent games turn children into killers, but where I was allowed to play GTA1 before I was 18, I wouldn't let my children play the latest incarnation of it.
The country is full of clueless, poor parents (most of which are too young to have had kids anyway) and know no better. I won't throw out a bold statement and tar everyone with it, but the saying "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree" would certainly be testamount to a lot of the parents around these parts where it's worse than anywhere else I've seen in the country.
