Can we be trusting that source.

I guess they could be lying in order to justify escalation considering their speech yesterday that if Ukraine continued to shell Russia they would increase strikes on command structure, it is Russian state media afterall

It wouldn't be the first helicopter attack on Russian soil in this war though

They confirm there was an attack, and the question was "any truth to this one" so I think confirming an attack counts as "any" but not all truth

Of course Russia are going to say Ukraine has been attacking in Russian territory. It's exactly what they want people to think.

It amazes me you can quote Russian state media as a news source.

Have to say looks like false flag to me rather dangerous risking a heli to blow up a road seems abit random.

Ukraine needs more weapons to break the siege of Mariupol, the country's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba says.

As we have been reporting, there are growing signs Russia could be on the brink of fully capturing Mariupol.

The southern port city has suffered devastating attacks since the start of the war.

"Mariupol is in a desperate situation. We are doing everything we can to support the civilians and defenders," Kuleba said.

What do people reckon going to happen to break the siege of Mariupol?

I think it really interesting next few weeks seeing what Ukraine can do in the east.

How can anyone in the world believe what any Russian state tv reports? Or their military?

Its just the Russians giving themselves the ok to escalate things more (bombings of cities etc etc).

I think there's a difference between "having" weapons and knowing where your enemy's"decision-making centres" are so you can target them.

I think you're reading too much into that part, I suspect Russia is referring to the fact the main government buildings, presidential palace etc.. haven't been blown up.

They are trying to obscure the utter incompotence exposed thus far in the war by implying they have the ability to take out "decision-making centers" but they just decided not to.

No they're not, they clearly have left that part of the capital untouched and they're threatening to change that.

Well Finland is like egg on his face. There will be something.. and it might be big - even if its blustering. i hope I haven't hijacked this thread too much.
