The lack of decent medical care for wounded is a huge issue for the Russians. The stories are saying a very large percentage are dying for lack of basic care. This has to be destroying morale.
The Ukranians on the otherhand are getting proper care, with wounded troops recovering and returning to the field.

I'm starting to see a new trend; videos from drones of Russian soldiers committing suicide.
Some of the Russians are shooting them selves in the head after spotting armed Ukrainian drones; it's like they've been experiencing so much of these slow death by shrapnel casualties that word has spread enough and now soldiers would rather off themselves and lay in pain for hours

Cant believe they dont have top cover just a ditch and even worse see some with 10 soldiers in and constant nades are dropped from drones.
a lot of Russian soldier being finished off by these drones though some just about turning the gun on themself.
Grossly simplified but this is what a major factor of the war is - Putin can't stand for Ukraine to move further Westward and appear to be better off for it than the standards of Russia.
It would need massive cruise missile strikes to achieve though - more like 1000 per major urban area or about 1678 for Kyiv alone.

Cold related injuries and deaths due to hypothermia and frostbite are going to be cutting through the Russians with their terrible kit and poor conditions.
The UK and other Western countries have been sending Ukraine lots of quality cold-weather gear.
The videos you see of a grenade being dropped into a trench of 10 russians and only 1 moves - these look like cold related casualties.
