Due to a lack of equipment to parade, unless you count blown up equipment, Russia has cancelled its victory day parade

Well they could pull a few hundred T-55's and T-34's out of storage to parade

Hmm more likely I think that Putin is reaching peak paranoia about possible plots against him than being unable to have a few ceremonial vehicles doing multiple laps to pretend they have more.

It's rather odd honestly considering it's essentially saying there's nothing to celebrate anymore, a cry for help imo.

lol...love the parade jsut to be Ukrainain farmers trailer burnt out tanks behind them.

Little bit hard for them to paint fresh numbers when they are occupied helping Ukrainian farmers grow next years crops.

I recently saw a documentary how Ukrainian farmers prepare the soil for the next growing season...

Had a weird dream last night where in Bahkmuht, Zelensky ordered a competition between RF and UKR, to get people in a boat across the river, and then to some specified point before the other side. (Whether RF agreed to it or not didn't matter).

I'm surprised by the AHS Krab losses - they should be able to shoot and scoot pretty readily - obviously there are going to be some times when they are waiting around.

In situations where Ukraine is on the back foot or stagnated frontlines resulting in artillery duels unfortunately the towed stuff is going to lose out against the generally larger amounts of Russian artillery even with the potential difference in precision and counter-battery capabilities.
 
Russians fear the new draft rules

Going forward draft notices will be issued digitally such as via email and as soon as it's sent it's taken as received whether the person has opened it or not. Once the digital draft notice has been sent, the person has 20 days to report for duty, failure to do so will prevent the person from being able to find work, take out loans or own property or businesses. And don't think of leaving, as soon as the draft notice is sent the persons name is added to the no fly/no travel list and they will be arrested at any border crossing or airport.

I wonder if they will stop people leaving before they are drafted as otherwise those who can will simply leave before they are drafted.

There is currently no restrictions on travel until you have been drafted. That doesn't mean they won't implement such a thing in the future

The brain drain for Russia must be a real problem. Anyone able to leave will be out the country sharpish.

Keep reading this theme how Russian army is not competent (just dis the fact it essentially fights collective west at once), how Russian economy is collapsing despite its projected GDP to raise 0.7% (some blasphemy for most sanctioned country in the world) whilst UK (not at war?) going to drop by 0.4%. Delusion at it's finest. I do understand it is difficult to shift your mind that you have been lied and fed ******** the whole time, but come on. I would expect more from IT related people who usually demonstrate good problem solving skills as well as logical approach to stuff. I have been raised to hate Russia and everything what comes from there, but you grow you learn and realize not everything is black and white. Same as our democracy. Whats the number of unelected PM we got right now?
