Wow. I have received quite few insults for having a different view. Funny fact. US is occupying bigger territory in Syria than is taken by Russia in Ukraine (Must admit haven't done homework on this one, I believe it is in regards to controlled population and useful materials in the area but not the actual size). Anyone asked them to, any Syrians? In contrary people in eastern part of Ukraine wanted to be part of Russia. I do not pretend Russia is invincible or right everywhere but in this particular situation - I do see a lot of delusion and ignorance coming from US and it's "vassals".

Edit. It is weird how people concentrate on size part but not about illegal occupation of the area by bringing "democracy". Rules for thee but not for me.

(and here’s a clue, the total area at the peak that Russia held wasn’t far off the total area of Syria).

I can find no mention of her saying she wants to disband NATO, nor can I imagine how she might orchestrate such a thing, can you link to that please?

This appears to be what she ACTUALLY said sans your embellishments:

"I remain Eurosceptic, convinced that France should leave NATO's integrated command, and against the delivery of offensive weapons to Ukraine", says the French leader, adding: "A victory for Russia would be a catastrophe".

Or maybe you're just wrong and most people here know it pretty fast, even before you begin to try and do mental gymnastics to come up with explanations for anything.

We've had others wade in like you and try and post their "differing views", by and large they have somewhere ranging between no evidence at all, to "just just me bro" levels of evidence to back up anything they are saying.

Low post count members who decide this is somehow the best place to pedal their nonsense stick out like a sore thumb.

Russia is currently occupying a big part of China. Show me the referendum results that these people want to be in Russia

Five years ago, before she faced Macron in the 2017 presidential election runoff which she lost heavily, Putin hosted Le Pen at the Kremlin with open arms. At the time, she declared admiringly that she shared the same values as Putin and that a "new world order" was emerging with him, then US president Donald Trump and her at the helm.

Hey @Chris Wilson , remember when you were having your wet dreams about MLP sweeping to victory and with that and seeing the success that leaving the EU had brought for us it was going to spur the exodus of all the other major nations and the collapse of the EU?

On Europe, Le Pen made clear that any "Frexit" along the lines of Britain's exit from the EU was not on her agenda.

The 2022 campaign trail has seen Le Pen dropping her past unpopular proposals to ditch the euro or leave the EU.

I'm not sure the amount of territory makes the actions any less or more bad, but the US is operating within territory currently controlled by Syrian opposition, which covers an area of approx 1500 square miles in comparison Russia has occupied around 40,000 square miles of Ukraine. The actual area the US is present in is a few dozen square miles.

There is having a different view, and there is trying to propagate a position which has no basis in reality.

The pundits seem to think she has a very realistic chance of taking the presidency at the next election, a stronger chance than has ever previously been the case, it's a way off, but that's what many are saying. We all know about pundits and election and referendum forecasts though, don't we? :)

The US is not occupying any territory in Syria. The US has ~900 troops across northeast Syria. That's all. There is no US occupation.

Russia has ~80% of her ground troops occupying ~161,000 km2 of Ukrainian territory. The exact number of troops is impossible to know, but estimates vary from 300k-500k.

I'm wondering how Russia will react to learning that the documents were shamefully leaked by a young man trying to impress kids on discord and therefore in a humiliating turn for everyone they're probably real :cry:

It's not just dead/wounded russian numbers being in the open, it goes into the lies told between russian forces to hide the numbers from official record and putin. They can read on paper that the americans know they're lying to each other not just to the public.

I'd love to know how this gets reported to the insanely insulated Putin who gets information filtered through layers of sycophants. Do they keep lying or do they reveal they've all been lying all along and fall out of a window the same day.
