You're giving way too much credit to the Russians there, I don't think their tactics have progressed beyond artillery bombardments and human wave attacks.
They have tried to mix thinks up, they've largely done away with the battalion tactical groups and broken formations up into smaller assault squads consisting of a couple of tanks and IFV's along with a mixture of conscripts and experienced troops. The idea is for the conscripts to go forwards with the tanks forcing the Ukrainians to revel their positions at which point the experienced soldiers go in with the IFV after an artillery barrage on the now revelled positions. Causailities are still high but it has give some limited success but like with all new things it's only a matter of time before the otherside adapts and your back at square 1.

Ukrainian forces are finding a growing number of components from China in Russian weapons used in Ukraine, a senior adviser in President Volodymyr Zelenskiy's office told Reuters, as Western supplies are squeezed by sanctions.

As I said I am not very articulate and really pulled that size of area out of my ass. It was more of the fact that US is occupying Syrian territory same as complaining about nuclear weapon being deployed in Belarus whilst US themselves have done that in 5 or 6 countries. Same as how "magically" US/EU supported Georgia's protests against Foreign agent law whilst US themselves got it, same as Canada thinking/adopted it as well as EU. I am not more of a person who really likes Russia but more like the one who dislikes How US treats Europe and cause most of the conflicts. Congratulations, we are at the pinnacle of hypocrisy.

Jesus wept.

A starter for 10 tip.
Take a look at the UN position on something before you start gathering evidence from youtube and similar places.

Its generally a good starting point in seeing how the majority of the developed, and even undeveloped world views things.

Teixeira appeared to be aware that what he was doing was wrong, according to a recollection of events the social media user shared with the FBI. The user said that “he had become concerned that he may be discovered making the transcriptions of text in the workplace, so he began taking the documents to his residence and photographing them.”

I'm not all clued up on classified information and I guess it's different in the UK to the US but one would think you can't easily just take classified documents home with you and there would be a chain of custody to ensure that doesn't happen unless you have really high level clearance ?

Plenty of instances of MoD laptops with classified stuff on left on public transport.

Because if everyone refused to engage with people who had different opinions/beliefs then the forum would turn into a Facebook style echo chamber, and that would suck.
I’m not talking about everyone refusing to engage folk with different opinions but when someone who has clearly went down a rabbit hole of nonsense that we see pop into these threads from time to time, imo it makes more sense to just ignore their posts. Nothing anyone says on here is going to change their opinion so why bother replying to them. Might as well bang your head against the metaphorical brick wall. If no one bothered to give them the satisfaction of a reply they’d soon get bored and toddle off to spout guff elsewhere.

Oh you would be very surprised/disgusted how easy it would be, especially if you are in a position of trust. Things are better than they used to be granted, but there is a long way still to go with classified information/equipment security.
All Secret classified information must be logged with information of who/when/what. Regular checks must be made, weekly/daily, sometimes even multiple times a day. That also applies to stuff that is secured.
However what you do with that information when it is in your possession is down to trust and severe ramifications if you lose/mishandle that data/equipment.

I feel that being lenient on Manning was a mistake, should have made an example as now it looks politically motivated, but they ought to ignore that and just flatten this guy as if they allow him to also be pardoned then there is no penalty really for treason which is ridiculous.

I'm 90% leaning toward it being a leak by an idiot showing off on the internet. 10% leaning toward them disclosing documents they want to be leaked to an idiot showing off on the internet. Might be giving those agencies too much credit but he seems a prime candidate to tap up by getting folk to join the discord and steer things.
What an idiot.

I mean, why are they giving access to that kind of information to some 21 year old kid, the US has far too many people with access to this kind of information to expect it to not get leaked. Remember this is only a leak that we know about because it went public and he got caught, how much information is just shared where no one finds out?
