A dangerous tactic but calling Putin's bluff should be on the cards.

'Retreat from Ukraine or face coordinated military action from the rest of the world. Starting with the defence of Ukraine.'
At this stage I'm not sure what alternative we have. If (when) they take Kyiv, we'll have to deal with the consequences of a Russian puppet state ad infinitum.

We can only hope the economy totally collapses and folk revolt.

With Russia using up it's inventory, the sanctions inlace means that only China can realistically provide the required support to help solve the issue for Putin. This means China would then enter the war (a no no) and the drain on China would then slow the military build up for Taiwan.

Also who do you purchase MIGs from? Russia. There is the reason that Poland wants to stop using MIGs and they become throw away items for the Ukraine. As others have said - shipping MIGs is seen as an escalation and I suspect China would comment on that too.

With the complete lockdown of the country, the Russian people are falling into Putin's hands,, all they will feel is the west's sanctions and the perpetual brainwashing of Putin-o-vision. Designed and executed by Putin.

I see Tucker Carlson-skie is still at it. Attempting to spread the lies that the US and Ukraine were developing bio war weapons in Ukraine. It then gets repeated on Russian state channels as propaganda. I wonder why Tucker is doing this? Yeah I get he wants to hurt Biden in any way possible but why even now support Russia? He's mega rich so they can't be bribing him. Do they have some kompromat on him? Has he been promised help if he runs for office at some point? I just don't get it. The man is poison in the US soul.

Because as we've said for a long time, the MAGA morons are basically fascist supporters. Trump managed to coalesce them into an active movement which have now taken on a life of their own now he's out of office. Just look at the support for Russia being given from the alt right in the US. Funny though, as shown on that Louis Theroux program, people like that Nick Fuentes (the young up and coming fascist star) and his mates are literally basement dwelling neckbeard incels

Even over here there is a strong correlation between being a Pro Trump, Pro Brexit, Anti-EU muppet and being Pro Putin. It's quite illuminating if you search on the forum for "Putin" or "Russia" and see what our resident fascist supportes have been saying over the years.

Of course, wonderful EU law and the old human rights chestnut would say Draconian action is illegal. <snip>

As Africa slowly empties into Europe people will rue the days when nothing as per usual was done in the name of human rights and international law. They should put Putin in charge....

President Putin was sage, as he often is, about this child [Greta] and her backers today. Driven by adults with an agenda, used and probably to be discarded when it suits. The only realistic answers to climate change (should you support the narrative), is extreme population birth control, or extreme western physical enforcement of Draconian control of migrancy from countries with a populace desiring a western lifestyle with no ability, financially or educationally, to enrich their desired destination.

With Chris as you can see he just mixes his racism and hatred of the liberal Country he lives in with his pining wistfully for Authoritarians like Putin.

Here's a reply to someone linking up a video about "Putin acting like a Boss"

I'd vote for him [Putin] all day long.

Oh and our biggest brokebrain of the forums for years, @mmj_uk , who seems to have stopped posting a few months ago

EU said Ukraine could deal them only and offered them a deal.
Russia said Ukraine could deal with anyone and offered them a better deal.
Ukraine chooses the Russian deal which is obviously better for them.
Ukrainian leader is overthrown in a coup.
Pro-EU leader is instated.

I'm sorry but the EU is far more of a dictatorship than Russia is, just look at all of the referendums they have ignored and leaders they have replaced (Ukraine, Italy, Greece etc).

Could it be that those countries see the EU as more of a threat to their independence than Russia?

These useful idiots, and many others, have been spreading anti-west propaganda for years.

*March 12 (Reuters) - The European Union faces soaring energy prices in the wake of sanctions imposed against Moscow over events in Ukraine, Interfax quoted a Russian foreign ministry official as saying on Saturday.

'Nikolai Kobrinets said Russia was a reliable supplier of energy, but was ready for a tough confrontation in the sector if necessary. He did not provide details of what that confrontation might entail.'
'He said the situation on global energy markets would lead to the EU paying at least three times more for oil, gas and electricity.'
'I believe the European Union would not benefit from this - we have more durable supplies and stronger nerves," Kobrinets told Interfax.'

To be fair. I don't think any of us know what he will do next.

Be interesting to know everything that is happening under the classified umbrella though. As I'm sure there is so much in motion that we don't know about.

Right down to our government perhaps being in safe places, the Royal family somewhere safe. You never know where this will lead.
