Which dam did they blow?I think Putin has got what he wanted now, access to the sea and they blew up the dam to get the water supply back

The Russians are looking for a quick way out. They are dangling a carrot so that they can call this 'special operation' a win. Ukraine shouldn't agree to their terms, the Russians are already backed into a corner with their logistical issues

Totally agree. Being in the right doesn't help much if you're dead.
They already had that with annexing Crimea, also they already have strategic ports on the black sea (Novorossiysk) and Sea of Azov (Rostov on DonI think Putin has got what he wanted now, access to the sea

I know you put /jk but it is an interesting point. About as useful as reading the ingredients on the back of Worcestershire sauce though. You can't just mix a vat up and expect the same results.
They compromised on Crimea. If they didn't, this wouldn't be happening now.The price of not compromising is too high. Thousands are dying daily, and the cost of reconstruction goes up all the time. Thus Ukraine will compromise, because the alternative is unacceptable.
I love how they keep demanding demilitarisation - in other words we want to try this again and not be defeated. How can any country thats failed to invade demand the invaded country give up its military capabilities. The only time that works is when you have won.

It's reassuring to know that should Putin invade, the US are in position to instantly respond by bombing Peterborough.
