I agree about Russia. But with the West pumping billions of dollars into China every year I doubt China will be failing any time soon. If anything the USA's time as the per-eminent superpower is coming to an end.
I'd question that since state security will always take precedence over continued growth which increasingly has to come from industries that are a direct threat to Beijing's power over its people. They simply won't allow it which means stagnancy.

So who provoked Russia to invade as you clearly asserted?
The overthrow of the democratically elected pro Russian govt.
The 7 year civil war.

The stuff no one here thinks actually counts… but Russia might do.

Or they just invaded coz they is mad/cancer/wmd/daddy Bush/freedom/oil.

Haha! Putin wouldn't know a democratic election if he tripped over one. There is only one kind he recognises - the kind he wins (honestly or not). Opposition he tends to poison/shoot/jail.

Now now, try and tell the whole truth. The Ukrainian president was voted out of Parliament in a legally recognised ballot after violent suppression and murder of protestors. A legal election was then held where a new president was elected. The previous chap fled to Russia.
Voting was suppressed in the two rebel regions of the country who's illegal governments failed to recognise the national election results. These were areas that were occupied with Russian troops.
As was the crimea which had been invaded by Russia.

Bit gruesome but someone has documented more than 5200 Russian soldier deaths in Ukraine - many of the incidents would have involved multiple additional deaths not documented... so the figure of 25K plus Russian deaths is likely close to accurate.

You mean that spook info stuff? They seem to be claiming 5,200 images and videos as opposed to 5,200 confirmed deaths, unless I am missing something.

I won't be shedding a teat that's for sure but the brutal reality is those soldiers that died are a means to end and are purely canon fodder for their masters in Moscow. It would be interesting to know just how many of the Russian dead were officers as privates are typically raised from the poorer/eastern area's of Russia and the officer class is generally from urban centers like Moscow and Saint Petersburg, there's more chance of the families of dead officers making noise over the number of dead then some dead soldier from Siberia.

And the PM had fled in lead up to the vote… won by a very impressive 300+ to nil. That’s some swing vote… but it’s easier to win when the opposition has fled or been lynched.
It’s called a Revolution for a reason.

Plenty of stuff on the BBC website and YouTube from then. The place was bonkers and we were a bit more balanced in our reporting before wed gone full Goebels as is required here.

That's because all of his supporting MPs fled. They knew it was the end for their corruption and Russian sycophancy.

The whole election was regarded as rigged anyway the fact that people rose up and overthrew their russian puppet directly lead to this war Putin has never forgiven them for it

That is the way of all armies/forces. Do you really think our Govt/any other gives a XXXX about the ordinary grunt.
Yes because our doctrine is not same. It takes years to train good troops. A good soilder is worth 10 conscripts. So yes our people care.

Yeah - for obvious reason I've not looked into it too closely.
I checked, it's 5,200 images and videos related to the war going from memes and troop movement to missile strikes, not 5,200 images and videos of russian causalities. It's a google drive link split into two folders one with all the material and the other with 530 images/videos of deceased Russian soldier although there is some replication.
