£££ UK's CHEAPEST 1080TI & ITS A GOOD ONE, ALL BLACK, OVERCLOCKED, TRIPLE FAN & 3YR WARRANTY !!

It doesnt matter what anyone says or how much they try and convince themselves that they are getting a 'bargain' lol - these prices are obnoxious - but its a self perpetuating mess that consumers are forced to swim in due to a complete lack of meaningful competition.

The GPU market for consumers is outright, abject, total smeg and PC gamers are being rinsed by Nvidia.

Cant blame Nvidia of course - capitalism at its finest.

Crack on one and all - keep telling yourselves you are getting a bargain and handing over your £££££. Soon Nvidia will introduce loot boxes or perhaps even a premium pass! Wouldnt that be delightful!

Yes im bitter. :D

If £70 is nothing, why are you on a 1070ti?

Because £70 isn't nothing. Neither is £700. For the the same performance, I choose the £70 cheaper card. Je ne regrette rien. :)
I think some will never be convinced :p.
What's the comment about the 1070 Ti about anyway? :) It's a tide-me-over and meant for the spare PC but only have the one GPU atm.
But on point, the Giga one is the one to buy while it's discounted. Aorus too close to the start of the 2080's to make it worth buying (IMO) and I believe OCUK are hoping to get more 20's under £700.

The 1070ti is fine imo, I only replaced my non ti 1070 because I felt time was running out to get a reasonable upgrade for something even close to £500 and still having a DVI port.

If market conditions stayed normal and newer gen kept DVI I would still be on my 1070 now.

The Ti has been great to be honest. I had two in Sli but sold one ready to upgrade to a 20 something and kept the remaining one as a spare which has ended up being my only GPU for the moment. Only game I'm currently playing that it's not as smooth as I'd like playing at 1440P is Mafia 3 but I think that's an unoptimized POS anyway :p.

It's not about convincing yourself you've got a bargain. Why should the prices be fair for a luxury item? Please point me in the direction of any luxury item market where the price is fair. Have you seen the wrist watch thread for instance? To me, those prices are crazy but people pay them because they want the item and it makes them happy.
Maybe another way to look at it is that we've had it good for a long time and those days are now over. Rising costs and complexity, global markets and lack of competition all add to these things.

Here's the bottom line though - if the thing makes you go "squeeeee!" when you fire it up and you're happy, you can't put a price on that.

As above.

Could not agree more.

No luxury in live is "necessary". But if you want if and can afford it, then why not. No pockets in a shroud, as I'm want to say.

Over 500 now pre-sold guys, remember price is ONLY pre-order, stock is due end of this week or early next week, depending on forwarders and customs etc. :)

I really hope you guys do not sell out just yet as i have decided there are too many unknowns with the 2080ti windforce and have asked for a refund... its from another seller.

as soon as i know it has gone through i will buy the 1080ti i think.

LOL. Of course you can. Or are you saying you would buy a shiny new GPU at literally *any* price conceivable? If you wouldn't pay £10,000 for it (or any other GPU) then your statement is just hyperbole.
