I used to always get my mum to buy me a can of Shandy Bass when we did the shopping.

I felt so cool opening it and sipping away.

they had those in the 90s aswell in realistic looking packets

You don't need ID to buy Beck's Non Alcohlic beer. It'll likely be shop policy to ID you.

Shandy, in can form (less than 0.5%) isn't classed as alcohol in the Licensing Act 2003.
Also, alcohol found in medicinal products and denatured alcohol (as found in listerine) also aren't classed as alcohol in the above Act and thus not bound by the conditions of the Act.
