way too cheap compare to what I have to pay :o it was £10500 last year and £10750 this year, hate to be international student

could have stayed in your own country :P our parents pay the taxes that cover this remember! (in theory if they pay taxes)

I'm going from N.Ireland to Scotland. Argh i've read some conflicting information on the websites.

I'll have to call into the BELB or my tech to find out exactly whats the craic with it all.

I love Scotland, no fees as of yet.

Yeah thats until you leave uni, then you have fee's to pay, if you read up on it, there are a few things you pay for at the end of uni instead of when you are at uni. The way they present the fee's in scotland is still a joke, they just name it different things.

I found out the other day that because im enrolled on my full degree already i pay the same rate each year.. where as i was under the belief everyone got roped into the new payments.

My parents were mighty happy when they found out its going to be £3K~ rather than £9K~.

Yeah you have to pay about £2000 when you graduate and pay back your loan, but not the fees.

I don't pay any tuition fees at all because my mum's income is below the threshold. I also get a £1k grant and the full loan. I get no financial help whatsoever from my parents though.

Im in the annoying situation where my parents are a bit above that limit. So it means I pay tuition fees and get no grant but the parents cant really afford to give me money!
