Uni results worry

Hey, i worry about anything.

Anyways i have a referral on one of my first year modules.... so i have been given a 1st year result or "Refferred" or something

I have been given an "AB" on a group presentation so 0 marks which leaves that module on 38 which has led to the referral.

Anyways, i did that presentation with othes.. they all got marked for it. i never. i did a good job of it too.. so it seems more like an error that i have no marks not because im rubbish.

Ive emailed that particular women who taught us loads of times but to no avail.

Ive emailed the course leader with no avail yet... What am i supposed to do without resitting the whole year because of something ridiculous?!

Referral if anything would mean you would either need to produce extra work or take an exam again. Re-sits are Aug/Sept. Anyway, iirc you can carry a module into your next year, unless that's only when going into final years but you don't want to be doing that.

I highly doubt they'd make you sit the entire year because you got 38% in one module. That's still considered a borderline pass anyway.

Well my whole year is a referral it says.. overall result whatever.

I dont know.. im just a bit annoyed because i fairly did well in that group presenetation and everyone else has passed the whole module.

My heart skipped a beat when i saw no pass as the overall result... i felt a bit numb.. sounds silly i guess

Not at my uni it's not.

If the rest of your group's got a mark for that piece of work and you haven't then don't worry - unless the rest of the group went and told the lecturer you did no work. Have you tried phoning the lecturer? Do you have a personal tutor - tried phoninig him/her? If needed go into uni - when my uni is annoying me about anything I just need to be persistent enough.

i rang up and the guy was like "yeh you've passed"
3 weeks down the line im still waiting for my actual results break down

Didnt even know our results were out, should go and get them really.

Mate, a mate of mine has been referred to on his course, and he has to do an exam for that module sometime in august, pass it that time and hes fine for *** next year, fail adn he needs to resit the whole year. Hes at northumbria so id imagine itll be the same for you.
