Unigine Heaven 4 benchmark

14. Score 1479, GPU 780 @1163/1582, CPU i7 950 @4.0, OCPete
15. Score 1286, GPU 780 @863/1502, CPU 3570k @4.1, mcleish

OCPetes clock's are the boost clocks but mcleish is non-boost. It can be a bit confusing, maybe ask people to post both base clock and boost speeds?

I think its worth noting the cooling on the GPU too.

Air / Water
Ref / WF 3x etc

Good plan?

It is very difficult to make changes now with so many results posted, if I was starting a new thread I probably would not ask for GPU clock speeds. What I do now is go with whatever the user posts, if I tried to get everyone to follow the same system it would create a lot of extra problems explaining the difference between the different numbers.

Air/Water
Ref/WF 3x etc

I wish I had included these when I started doing the thread, it's easy to state if you are using Air or Water.

The main aim of the thread is to have something that is fun and quick/easy to use.:)

Thanks everyone for posting today, seeing how the GTX 780 goes has been really interesting. I think they are top notch cards and would get one for one of my rigs but unfortunately I am broke.:D:)

A few more points

Can't help but notice a few of scores are without verification of tessellation, i.e. cobble screenshots.

Are we going on trust that these scores are unmanipulated?

I hope that anyone who posts is honest, the reason I am accepting screenshots anywhere in Heaven is some time ago it was causing a lot of problems getting people to take the screenshot over the cobbles. One of the main aims of this thread is to have something that is fast moving and fun. I sometimes think about what happened on the Heaven 3 thread where it took weeks to update the scores and sometimes a score would be rejected because of a small oversight.

If I do see any results that look a bit off, I will look into it a bit further. If anyone notices anything strange please ask me to look into it.

As I was saying above the aim of the thread is to have something that is fast moving and fun.

Now gentlemen go bench those cards.:D:)

Score updated.

It is good practice to include the cobbles as it shows the Tessellation in use.:)

Overclocking the vram really does help to boost your score on this bench.:)

You should get a nice little boost from overclocking the CPU, just keep an eye on the temps, the i7 9xx CPUs can get a bit warm (I use two of them).:D

Here is by best.

Very nice, the first GTX 770.:)

Managed to net another 50 points or so by switching overclocks on the CPU to use a base strap of 1.25 to get up to 4.5Ghz. Will be switching back though as this dropped my scores significantly in the other benchmarks.

SLI (x2) GTX 780 1166/1662, i7 [email protected], 320.18WHQL, Win7 64bit

Using the 125 strap and raising the bclk to about 128 or 129 works quite well on 3dmark11 as well.:)

All updated.:)

Updating my score, I was trying to reach 2000, but I didn't :( (maybe if I overclock my cpu a little bit more)

I7 3770K @4.5Ghz
2x Msi HD 7950 @1180/1700

Score: 1977

Nice score, updated.:)

If you are running an i7 on this bench, you can disable hyperthreading as it is not needed. This could give a little bit more overclocking headroom on the CPU.
