Anyone know whether local phone shops will be able to do this? I have a couple of BB's that i need unlocking as moving to BT. BT won't help as there O2 handsets and O2 won't help as i'm not on their system as a customer as they were brought from somewhere like carphone warehouse.
I've seen tonnes of sites where you get your IMEI number, ring a certain number(@ £1.50 p/m) and they'll send you a unlock code but I'm sceptical about whether these will work.
I'd prefer to take it to a shop as well - to ensure its actually done, so any ideas?
