Unlocking codes

Can an unlocking code be sent to the phone that is needed to be unlocked or does it have to be done via a cable?

should be ok to talk about because its not illegal.

I always thought an unlocking code has to be entered manually.

Yeah, you get the code from your Network provider, some charge some don't.
All depends upon how far into your contract you are (if contract) and/or if its PAYG

I've just unlocked my K750. Once the guy actually found the right part of his system to generate the code he just took my IMEI code, asked me to type a few things into my phone, and voila.. one unlocked K750.
