So yesterday i updated Windows 10, as per the norm.

Upon reboot i noticed a very long loading cycle with the "spinning dots".

I tried a reset, and a clean reboot and still stuck on "spinning dots".

I decided it was hardware, and funnily enough, my solo/main backup HDD (with all the family pics and even the ones of my son being born) wouldnt work. I'm an idiot for not having a backup of my backup, i know!

So, my problem is thus: Disk drive show my Seagate 3TB Barracuda as "Unknown: not initialised". When i try to click "initialise" it says: "file not found".

All the recovery software fail to pick-up the drive is even there.

The drive itself make a frequent and metronomic clicking sound when left spinning.

My question is this, what are my options, whats the best course of action?

P.s thanks Bill Gates ;)
