Planning upgrade my PC to i7 socket 1366 , Parts that will be used –

CPUCI7 2660/4.8GT/8M S1366 BX/BX80601920 S LBEJ IN
Prolimatech Megahalems,
OCZ Reaper 1800MHZ DDR3 6Gb,
WD74GB 10000RPM x2 in RAID 0
SMGF1 500Gb,
CLUB3D 4870OC
CHIEFTEC700W,
ANTEC Three Hundred.

But cant decide about motherboard, Unfortunately I cant get EVGA because simply they are not in sale in Lithuania. That mean I have make choice between ASUS and Gigabyte.
Expecting that motherboard prize, and performance will be up to my specks.
Coming system will be used for 3D graphics, and gaming ( VGA will be replaced after few moths)
Overclocking are planed up to 4Ghz, if Megahalems will be good as is should be.

Thanks for advices

asus p6t would be a good choice

+1, the P6T SE version if you want to keep costs down. Overclocks fine to 4GHz.

Also, make sure you put a 120mm fan on the megahalems cooler, it doesn't come with one. Personally, I would suggest one (or two) of these.

Also, I would suggest checking the price of the RAM you picked against this stuff (6GB 1600MHz C9), the performance difference is minuscule - check the price difference is too, otherwise get the 1600MHz.

If you are planning on buying a new Samsung F1 500GB drive, I suggest looking toward the F3 version instead - its faster.

Also, are the 74GB WD Raptors going to be bought new? If so, I suggest instead investing in a single SSD (like this).

RAM I already have – 6GB (3x2048MB) T/C Kit PN - OCZ3RPR1800LV6GK, find cheap in USA, for Prolimatech Megahalems I have NEXUS CASE FAN 120MM ULTRA SILENT PWM, I think should to the job is well..
I looking for motherbord - this is only component that I missing

What you think about Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5, looks like very good board, and price reasonable – Any suggestions are very helpful for me… :)

I find out strange that one of fastest sockets have very small choice of motherboards, P6T probably will do the job is good as high end boards, but I need at least 4 fan connectors…
