Hi all,
I would like to upgrade my current build. Where I should start off? I am guessing ram is first on the list but should I upgrade mobo/4670 as well? PC used for gaming mostly (pubg, europa universalis). Thanks in advance.

My current build:

ZALMAN Z11 Plus Midi Tower
Be Quiet! CM BQT L8-630W PSU Pure Power
Z87-K (SOCKET 1150)
Intel Core i5 4670K @ 4.00GHz + Thermalright HR-02 Macho Rev.A
Corsair CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 Vengeance 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) DDR3 1600 MHz CL9 XMP
2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB

What resolution are you playing at? 1080p?

Do you have any issues playing games? do you know what fps you get when playing those games and on what settings?
I would assume you could play med/high @ 1080p and get 60fps with that GPU.

Yeah you could do with faster/more ram but its not critical, i would keep what you have until you change CPU/Motherboard.

GPU would be the only thing i would look at but if you have a 1080p 60hz monitor then the 1060 should be fine on med/high settings.

Hi thanks for reply.

Yes I am playing on 1080p. I can hit 60-100 fps on med in pubg, however i got fps drop below 60 sometimes. EU is more ram/cpu dependent I guess so upgrade would make sense.
Ok so lets say I am willing to change my CPU/Mother/RAM and keep GPU would that make sense, what would you recommend? Or I should aim at changing everything?
Can my CPU handle something better that 1060?

When you get the fps drops do you notice it? is there any stutter when it happens?

Well Europa Universalis IV has a recommended spec of a Pentium 4, 2GB RAM and a Nvidia 8800 so i would be very surprised if your pc is struggling with it.

Your CPU has some life left in it, im running a 3570k which is a generation older than yours and it runs all the latest AAA titles without issue.
