Hi all,

I am looking to buy a new PSU to power the below rig (probably need a 550W). Currently running a Corsair - VS 450W ATX Power Supply.

Can anyone advise what would be the best option in the market currently? Budget is about £50 - £90.

  1. CPU Intel - Core i5-4690 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
  2. CPU Cooler - Corsair - H55 57.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
  3. Motherboard - Asus - Z97-WS ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
  4. Memory - Kingston - HyperX Fury Red 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
  5. Storage - 1 x 850 EVO Samsung 2.5" SSD & 2 x Western Digital - BLACK SERIES 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
  6. Video Card - Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1050 Ti WindForce X2 OC
  7. Case - Cooler Master - Elite 311 (Blue) ATX Mid Tower Case
  8. Power Supply - ???
  9. Optical Drive - Lite-On - iHAS124-14 DVD/CD Writer
  10. Operating System - Microsoft - Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit
  11. Monitor - 2 x AOC - I2369VM 23.0" 1920x1080 60Hz Monitor

If I was looking for a new psu right now I would also be looking at the Seasonic Focus Plus series. Gold rated, fully modular and compact at only 140mm long they also have a 10 year warranty. You can read a review of the 550w version here.
