General outline for my build is a:
Ryzen 5900x
32gb DDR4 3600mhz ram
RTX 3080
1/2 TB PCie4.0 M2 Nvme for OS/games.
1TB PCie3.0 m2 from old system
3 x Sata SSD drives from old system

General advice that i need is for the following:
Motherboard that suits the above, to get most out of the main OS drive and graphics, heard some share lanes. Price upto £200.
PSU: is 850w enough? If so any recommendations on brands? - current is a 3 year old EVGA G3 850w unsure if i should reuse and save a little?
Ram - is it better to get 2x16gb or 4x8gb to get best performance and any recommendations on which to get upto £200.
360mm AIO any recommendations on this for CPU cooling aswell?

Thanks all :)

X570 tomahawk is a good shout for the board.

Your current psu will be fine.

8 pack teamgroup 2x16 3600/16 Samsung B-Die for best performance ram.

Arctic freezer II 360 for a top performing AIO.

B550 boards can take two M.2 drives, but other slots than CPU connected graphics card and primary M.2 are all PCIe v3.
X570 has more IO lanes and all are PCIe v4.
MSI X570 Tomahawk is pretty high end board for very good price.
MSI MAG X570 Tomahawk WiFi (AMD AM4) DDR4 X570 ATX Motherboard= £179.99

That PSU is perfectly good for another three years.

In RAM best performance is gotten with command interleaving of dual rank set up.
Two DIMMs per channel gives always at least two ranks, so 4x8GB would guarantee it.
But there really aren't good latency kits.
In 16GB DIMMs only ones with old Samsung B-die (which is also the best DDR4 chip) are guaranteed to be dual rank.
Team Group 8Pack Edition 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 PC4-28800C16 3600MHz Dual Channel Kit= £199.99

Unlike Intel AMD has quite honest TDPs, so biggest cooler wouldn't be needed.
Especially when Arctic Freezer IIs have 50% thicker than usual radiators for more surface area.

Gamernexus did a test on ram and came out 2*16 outperformed 4*8. Also with 2*16 you have potential to add more if you ever need it.
As above the team8 is sammy b die and is on offer at 199.99....theres a big thread on in in the ram section of the forum.but prob best performer at the mo
Below that is crucial ballistic rgb 3600c16 also at 189.99 I think. The non rgb is cheaper but sold out and has been for awhile. If you want to go cheaper the £150 will get you 3600c18...think patriot viper is at that price non rgb. You can get corsair vengeance pro rgb for that price also but not at ocuk. C18 looses a few fps in games compared to c16, so lower price a trade off
The x570 tomahawk again is prob best board for price for x570 at the mo. It was £220 when I was looking. If you drop to b550 board then the 2nd m.2 slot is pcie3, primary is pcie4 still. You'll be looking ag MSI gaming edge wifi (wifi6) for £139, or the tomahawk at £119(but no wifi).
Not much point looking elsewhere at mo as price just can't compare with those boards. Asus were doing a promo which made them competitive but think that's ended now.
So Joxean and EsaT pretty much covered everything, and everything there mentioned is already on deals. Crucial ram doubt youll get a better price anywhere else either

The PSU would be fine. For RTX 3080 I’d look at a 5800X and 4x8gb of single rank memory. It will give the CPU an edge in performance over a pair of high density DIMMs

Thanks again all for the replies. If i dropped to a b550 board i could potentially pick up a msi gaming edge for £95, which means more money for other areas in the build i guess aslong as isn't much of a downgrade over the x570 tomahawk? My aim was for this system to last at least for the next 5 years before i next plan to upgrade.
Is the 5800x better suited to gaming or is it more of a better cost/performance over the 5900x? I was originally looking at the 5950x but just read its completely overkill for my needs and not really suited to gaming at all.

Do you mean the B550 gaming plus? If it's the B550 gaming edge wifi at £95 then that's a bargain.

Both the 5800X and 5900X are fine for gaming so it's up to you, the 5900X does add a bit of futureproofing and the gap between the two would widen over time.

Yes, was the gaming edge wifi which arrived today :) The build has begun, just to search for the rest of the components needed now
