Upgrade to LGA775 Quad or?

i got a q6600 recently for free, makes a nice upgrade from a E6600. i got a G0 revision but havent overclocked it yet as i'm still using a stock cooler. anytime i tried it froze the computer.

i would get a Q6600 as its good.
