Upgrading from an Intel 9900K, do I get a 13th Gen cpu or is it worth waiting for the 14th Gen

I’m considering upgrading my Intel 9900K but undecided between something like the 13900k (maybe even the 13700k would be an adequate upgrade), or would it be wise to wait for the 14th Gen? I guess prices for the 13th Gen could drop by then. But unless it’s quite a big drop, I think I’d try and wait for the 14th Gen if that’s likely to be a lot better than the 13th. Obviously both will a lot better. But wondering how much better the 14th Gen will be.
