Can i do better for the same amount of money?

thanks

Looks good. What graphics card do you have? Unless you are going to SLI/Crossfire them, I would save a bit and go for the 520w Corsair PSU. Got one myself running Q6600, 8800GTX and watercooling :)

ive got a 7800gtx and im gonna stick with it for awhile yet. Got a xbox 360 to play my games.

So 520w will be enough and room for expansion in the future? Dont see myself ever going to dual graphics card.

just thinking...

you reckon my Seasonic 430w be enough to power the new parts? How much more power does the quad cpu use compare to x2

possibly double.

thats a guess but it makes sense seeing as there are double the ammount of cores.

but then again not much stuff will make sense when they go into detail.

The 3800+ has a TDP of 89w vs 95w/105w (new/old Q6600 revisions). The Seasonic 430w should be fine - just check it is ATX2.0 etc.
