hello ,

Had posted here a while back looking for an upgrade and you guys were extremely helpful with feedback. However due to unforeseen circumstances I couldn’t go ahead with the purchase. So am back here again looking for help. Would prefer pre built however could buy parts if and build with some help if I was getting a way better machine.

Basically have a budget of 1600 and would need mouse/keyboard / windows and a monitor and would also use the monitor for the ps pro also.

Any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks

Thanks for this , so you think it’s worth the extra few quid to upgrade the motherboard ?

Main games I play on pc would be elder scrolls , pubg and fortnite plus few others on stream.

If push the beefy screen and Vega 64 and if you can up to the MSI AC WiFi B450 then go for it :)

Gigabyte SSD is also cheaper then Crucial as well as larger. Even before you install windows you lose about 10GB to formatting, then windows can be 20GB in size along with its updates etc so all eats away

Yep fair points. I usually go with the Team Group for a 'budget' SSD. The Crucial is a well established SSD and has a 5 year warranty so that was probably my reasoning. I haven't really looked at the new Gigabyte or Seagate SSD offerings but I guess they will do the same job at the end of the day.

Orbitals build has the stronger cpu (8 core/ 16 thread) but you would still need to add a Mouse/Keyboard and a copy of W10. You might be able to find a cheaper copy of W10 if you google. I personally think £100+ is a bit steep for an operating system.

Your current hard drive should be ok to use as mass storage. They are cheap to replace anyway if need be down the line.

Actually just quick update, girlfriend is gonna buy the monitor for me as a birthday gift so what parts should I know upgrade as the monitor no longer needs to factored into the 1500.

Sorry for the changing but I presume could upgrade few parts with the 200.

Thanks again

hi,

Going to order the monitor today and then the remaining pieces at the weekend.

If I sent the specs to overclockers would they build it for me at a cost, having second thoughts of getting it and making a balls of the build etc.

its about £50-100 ontop for them to build with their 3 year collect warranty etc :)

can even build it without windows licence. Think they get it set up, drivers installed then up to yourself to get a key code etc

Hi , so got the quote etc from them which as you mentioned included windows plus warranty etc.

So the build in full is the below , can someone just have a quick look over this please to ensure I have it all correct. I will getting the monitor AOC AGON AG322QC4 32" 2560x1440 VA FREESYNC 144Hz 4ms Gaming Widescreen LED Monitor

Will this be enough to run games at ultra settings etc and decent FPS ? Destiny 2, elder scrolls and fortnite and pubg amongst the games I play.

Thanks again
