Upgrading to the 8700k after 7 years. Advice on this build please. £2,000+

Salvaging some parts from my current system to upgrade to the Z370 / 8700k that's coming soon. Want to pick up some parts in the meantime and wanted to get advice on the parts that I've selected.

Best value recommendations for which 1080ti to buy?
What 1440p 144hz+ monitor to get?
What ram to get and is 3400mhz compared to 3000mhz worth it or not?
What keyboard is better than my current (but worn) Filco - Ninja Majestouch-2?
If the 7700k delid kit will work with the 8700k?
Is the Xonar DX sound card is worth upgrading or not?
Anything other parts I should consider buying?

You can't use a Z270 board with the 8700K, needs to be Z370. Or is the 270 in your list a place holder?

Yes just a placeholder. I don't intend to buy a super high end motherboard like the Rampage Extreme, etc. In my experience, the lower end of a line are generally as stable and provide 90% of the features that you end up using.

Please don't use arctic silver 5. You can get WAY better paste for the same price. Check out the kryonaut stuff.

Even Noctua's NTH1 is better though yours would be quite old at this point and I'm not sure I'd use it if I were you... though I did once use 5 year old MX4 and it was fine.

Are you in the UK or USA ? I know your budget is £2000 but those links are for USA stores.

Also what is the pc going to be used for ?
