Uplay - good, bad or dangerous?

Dont use uplay and dont use origin. I am quite happy to miss out on the one game in 6 years that i fancy playing.
 
It works for me, but it's just an inconvenient bolt on to a game I wish I didn't have to have clogging up my system.

Pretty much how I'd sum it up.

I just don't think it's needed. It's like the original version of steam yet they seem to have no intention of ever updating it.

Bugs me having two friends lists, profiles don't really work.
