I am expecting a next working day delivery tomorrow - however I am in work and they cannot guarantee delivery anytime before 5:30pm. If I leave a note on my door do you think the man would leave the package with my next door neighbour if she signed for it?

Do they still do this?

Cheers folks

It's worth a try. Ask your next door neighbour to look out for them and just come out and explain when they arrive?

I'd put it on the inside of a window, where they can clearly see it.

Otherwise they might assume that anybody could stick a note to your front door, and not risk it.

Some courier companies already do it m8 I Know both Parcel Force and the couriers that OCUK use do it

Or call up customer services and change the delivery address. Then leave a note on the door of the new address sending them to the old address. Then see above for note on your front door.

to replace a 14" compaq crt with a chunk outta the screen lol bout time too! And no I am not michelle, that was the birds ebay account ;)
None of my business, granted, but you do know those retail for £134.19 (including VAT, postage and packaging), right? According to that auction page you'll be making a grand saving of £1.95 over the retail price, and have to go through all this hassle of ordering through a third party

wasn't really the issue mate, was on saw it thought yeah could use that didn't make that much diference who it came from to me still comes with warranty, could use paypal in an instantance and with my work it'd be a hassle regardless of who shipped it and delivered by.... six and half a dozen my good friend. :)

note is in the window
