***URGENT*** Dreamwaever cs3 + firefox css style sheet deleted

i was working on a site (localy) for over 2hours and i was constantly previewing the site with firefox and editing using DW cs3. suddenly my css stylesheet was deleted i first noticed when i tried saving the css file it said access denied.

upon closing dreamweaver the style sheet was gone I DIDNT DELETE THE FILE AT ALL.

does anyone know how i can revover this either through temp files from dreamwaever or some recovery software?

PLEASE HELP!

I CAN REBUILD THE CSS off my head but it will take an eternity

Sounds like it has gone. I have been using Dreamweaver and FF for years and never had a problem like that. Could try some data recovery software. I have used "GetDataBack" before with god results.

I cant give you any help on recovering but i have been having this problem aswel, i will be working away on it, then i would go to save it (after successfully saving it loads of times) and it will just say access denied!

i havent shut down the pc hoping maybe there is a way to recover it from system ram

im nearly in tears here

Have you tried all the usual locations that windows might cache it?

Something similar happened to me last year with a piece of coursework. Lucky a restore point had been automatically set and i managed tom recover 80% of my work. Worth a look if you have it running.
