*URGENT* Fans for Bitfenix Shinobi Core USD 3.0 Case

Yes, good luck!

I would use the bottom as intake if you needed more airflow, and order another 120 and 140 for top. But I doubt you will need it unless you OC loads. I am OC'd on nearly no airflow, and that coolermaster you have is a bloody good cooler.

Hopefully you don't need an extention for the rear case fan, it does look long enough in reviews but may need to run it under the graphics card for it to reach.

Pleased I could help you, do post back your opinion on the fans as others can benefit from it. :D I'm getting interested in them now too hehe.

Will deffinately post back, fans will arrive later than build so will see how it goes to start and then compare to performance with fans. Will post all.

I now understand much more than I did earlier.....Cheers

Did you get my above post in time philmo? Seems you got a better version of the case.

Suppose it not the end of the world if you don't, would have full 120mm fans and a 140, just not enough fan headers lol.

Just to late brian, went with 2 x 120mm (+ 1 stock fan which I will lose if no good), 1 x 140mm.

No mater - will just makes things cooler. Saves changing so much when (if !!!) I o/c. Cheers

Okay. :) Seem like great value fans, would like to hear about them when you get them. Could use them to upgrade a friends fans, she's a girl and her hair got caught up in them and broke 1 of them lol.

Interesting, will show some pics of all in place - will trade pics for picture of girl with hair in fan....lol.

Another question, how do I control the PWM function mentioned earlier. Is my motherboard enabelled to do this (Gigabyte Z77-D3H?). Excuse ignorance but not familiar with PWM.

And do you think it is worth at a later date getting hold of a fan controller?

Again - thanks.

I think PWM can be set in BIOS but tbh I haven't got a clue about system fans PWM. I remember my PWM on CPU cooler working automatically.

If you like silence it's worth it to be able to turn fans down when not needed, or to find a good balance between all the fans.

She used to have hair like Repunzel. So annoying getting it out of the fans! No pics available I'm sorry to say.

I'm waiting for some members here to review the Bitfenix Recon fan controller, if they like it I will buy as it's the only option for me at the moment. Need a flat/touch screen one because I have a door on my case. It looks like a great controller.

By the way, doesn't hurt to read the manual. :p http://download.gigabyte.eu/FileList/Manual/mb_manual_ga-z77(h77)-d3h(-mvp)_e.pdf

Page 43 ish tells you about setting PWM.

Fair point, downloaded instructions in prep for arrival - so have gone 44 and read the stuff. Guess trial and error with settings when they are all hooked up.

Cheers....
