F8 again, and boot to Last Known Good configuration. That might work.

Thanks for all the help people. Problem is now sorted! All it took was uninstalling drivers, reboot, install new drivers, reboot and then done! Must have corrupted my drivers somehow!

And Mr. Le Petit Lapin, was just about to try that until I realised

was The op didn't remove the DVI and plug it back into the wrong DVI port? Most cards these days have 2 DVI ports.... anyway it's fixed now.
