urgh... new vauxhall 4x4

Just looks like all generic '4x4's that can't go offroad, apart from on the lawn/garden.

If I wanted a 4x4 I'd buy a decrepid old LandRover 90/110 from the mid 90s, they are real offroaders. :D

My Dad bought a CRV last year, and although It's wallowy and lifeless, it's OK to get from A-B, and in Spain at least, you need one for the ramblers, so I've let him off..!!!

Saying that, the Pug 4007/XTrail/CRV and this Antera are at least OK on fuel (38-40MPG) and brisk enough on acceleration so they don't deserve to attract the anti 4x4 brigade's attention.. just a 5 seater MPV that can go up the curbs!..

Personally I'm anti anything that claims it's an offroading 4x4, when it's basicaly a city 4x4, and is meant to go offroad on flat had dirt or grass...but I like the idea of the school mums driving cars that'll mount the pavment...maybe that'll teach them to drive a car...

:p

From a practical perspective it's largely pointless, from a marketing one, it'll be popular and makes a lot of sense.

Yeah, that's the problem, everyone these days wants to feel safe, so buys a '4x4', so this will do well, unfourtunatly for the most of us, but fourtunatly for the company.

I cant understand why would anyone choose that over a A4 avant for the same money.
I don't know how many will selll new but give it two years and every mum will be buzzing in them. A4 Avant isn't a mummy car really.

Followed one on the motorway to work. Usually I take interest in even the most mundane of new cars I see on the road. This time I honest couldn't care. Will prob sell very well to idiot 30 something mums who talk with fake posh accents, have huge fake smiles all the time and appear to have applied their make up with fireworks. Think that about sums it up.

heres a funnier thing that car in Turkey is priced at 100k YTL which is roughly around £40k and ive actually seen a couple on the road..
