An Englishman in with a shout of a major
Luke Donald is out in the final pairing in 25mins with Woods both on -14, any chance?:)

Tigers looking pretty hot at 17 under, although hes just put his drive in the trees on the 7th.

Donald has had a few chances but is just not holing birdie putts at the minute, whereas Tigers holing most of his.

Donald does seem to be having a bit of a mare now.

Donald showed he had the game for it in the first threee rounds, it just seems to be a mental hold tiger has over the field when hes leading majors.

Donald should know the course, he lives right near it.

If donalds dowsnt win I want woods to, awesome golfer, another major

12th major title for Woods cruised to victory today 5 shot win.

Only 6 more till he catches Nicklaus reckon he'll be there in the next 3 years.

Aye, Jack Nicklaus was 33 when he got his 12th major and 43 when he won his last, so Woods has 13 years to win 6.

Nicklaus won his 18 majors by a combined 44 shots.
Woods has won his 12 majors by a combined 56 shots.

The man is a machine - absolutely incredible. When he's in the last pairing, he is completely inured to the media and public circus that surrounds him whilst the poor bloke trying to out-score the #1 golfer in the world has rarely been under that sort of public scrutiny. With all the pressure of a major, is it any surprise that no-one has ever been able to beat him in such circumstances?
