USB 3.0 or eSATA Hard drive caddy that supports >2TB hard drives?

Can anyone recommend a portable USB 3.0 or eSATA Hard drive caddy that supports >2TB (larger than 2TB) 3.5 inch hard drives?

I have a sharkoon 'rapid case' external drive caddy, but it does not work properly with my new WD Red 3TB drive! It will only show 746GB usable space when used in USB mode, and eSATA does not detect the drive at all.

Now the drive itself works fine directly of the SATA ports on my motherboard, and on my USB Sharkoon Quickport, so its clearly not a USB controller or SATA controller issue, rather its a limitation of the caddy itself, not supporting drives over 2TB in size...

I've been looking for that as well over the last week or two, but it's been a struggle to find anything that specifically states it supports more than 2TB, however I did find the Icy Box IB-351STU3-B , this does say it supports 3TB drives.

That said, I'm now looking a eSata Dock instead of a full enclosure, but not found any docks that that states it supports > 2TB

I've got a Thermaltake Blacx 5G (USB 3) that works fine with 3TB drives.

I was under the impression that eSATA was simply a pass through and that if the controller supports 3TB then it should work ok.
