Something that has annoyed/intrigued me for a while.
Spec:
Dell XPS 1730
C2D T8100 2.10Ghz
4xGb Ram
Vista (Home Prem 32) / Win 7 RC (64)
Logitech Laser Mouse (USB - Wireless)
I noticed this on my old XPS 1710 as well.
Whenever I load up the machine with something like winzip, or copying files the mouse becomes 'laggy' (moves in a jerky fashion, and often even misses button clicks) - The track pad still works flawlessly and I often have to use it to click on icons as the USB wireless mouse just won't click.
The load can be as light as 30% CPU (on both) and it still happens. I was wondering if it was something to do with the polling interval, and if there was anything else I could do to fix the problem?
