Used Vauxhall Corsa

Hi, what do you guys think of the value of this car thats going for £5500.

The specifications:

1.2i 16v SXI
28k mileage
4door
06 plate
petrol
alloy wheels

The car is in very good condition, so i was thinking of purchasing it. What are your thoughts of this vehicle compared to the going price?

I think the clutch is on the way out and the gearbox crunches into third.

Also there is a scuff on the rear bumper just above the exhaust.

On second thoughts buy it. It's a Four Door Corsa. They couldn't have made many of those.

The corsa is poorly built and doesn't handle very well. Try the Corsa, but DON'T buy until you try a Fiesta (the 1.4 Zetec if you only want a small engine).

the 1.4 is hardly a small engine for a fez, surely the 1.25 would be a better comparison to the 1.2 Corsa?

Dont buy a corsa, i drive one 06 1.2 sxi and its pretty damn awful

Think my mum paid about £6500 nearly 2 years ago for an 4 door 1.2 sxi with 12000 miles on it. From a dealer

There are quite a few on autotrader with that specification advertised for less than £5k. However if you must buy a Corsa then why not get an older, slightly more mileage one for around £3.5k.

If you want to spend £5k then there are a lot nicer vehicles you could be looking at.
