Hi guys,

Got a bit of a quandary. Can I use a PS3 with a VGA-only LCD monitor? Either using the Analogue or HDMI outputs? If so, how?

Thanks :)

You may be able to use a HDMI to VGA adapter, but you might have some issues with HDCP and/or converting HDMI (digital) to VGA (analog).

Hi

The ps3 can not output vga signal you would need to look at a digital to analog converter like the HDFury gamer addition but they are not cheap there may be cheaper makes out there but im not sure how good they are compared to the HDFury.:)

This.

I used a HDMI to DVI cable. You just need to make sure your monitor supports HDCP. You'll also have to use a line in for the sound.

A few quid will do it.
