Using electrical products from other countries?

What do I need to use 110v electrical devices from the usa like a games console, a stepdown transformer?

Most game consoles have external power supplies. You'd just need the proper PSU for your location.

Something else to consider is that a USA PS2 will be outputting its video in NTSC format, whereas your TV will be in PAL format. So not only will the voltage and frequency of the power supply be wrong, but the video output will be wrong.

There's no voltage transformer to fix that.

Almost all Pal Tvs can accept both formats.

I think the old, big PS2 has an inbuilt transformer but the newer PSTwo has a power brick you can replace.
