Something else to consider is that a USA PS2 will be outputting its video in NTSC format, whereas your TV will be in PAL format. So not only will the voltage and frequency of the power supply be wrong, but the video output will be wrong.

There's no voltage transformer to fix that.

There's no voltage transformer to fix that.
So that might also mean that the PAL games you buy here will not work on the console.
