- Utter turd - OCUK WORST GAME OF THE YEAR

edit: Just for a little clarity I will count up the votes after a few days and put them into 2 categories:

1. Worst, this will be for the likes of A:CM, where the release is broken and, despite possible patching is maybe still unplayable or 'refund-worthy'

2. Most disappointing, from most of the posts I can see where people were let down by maybe a bad story, or expected more from the game, but the game itself is not inherently broken or unplayable

Usually I turn my nose up at people listing AAA titles in these kinds of threads but between Rome 2, Simcity and Battlefield 4 being unmitigated disasters of worst kinds of unplayable s**te I've changed my tune ...

I'm stuck between those 3 games - BF4 is stinging the most as it's the one that most recently stole my money so I'll go with that... EAs crimes against humanity won't go unpunished!

BTW, if you want to see a truly badly made game all-round, check out Ride To Hell: Retribution. I actually bought and played it due to the Angry Joe review, as I couldn't believe what I was seeing, and it is so hilariously bad it isn't true!

Search for this on Youtube if you don't believe me and you want a laugh- Ride To Hell Angry Review - WORST GAME EVER?

dayz standalone, yes i know its in alpha, but after this amount of time, you would have expected a hell of a lot more

I would just like to clarify that my vote for Battlefield 4 belongs in the 'worst' category, not 'most disappointing'.

Worst, X rebirth and aliens colonial marines. I pre ordered them both, will I never learn?

Most Disappointing, metro last light, I really liked 2033 but I just can't get into last light.

My Turd in a Chocolate Box award for most disappointing game is SIM City. I was hoping for Sim City 5 but got let down by, well, most of it really. Aside from the DRM only online, it was the deceptively shallow mechanics and forcing us to be social that disappointed me.

My Turd in a Turd award for turdiest game is Command and Conquer Generals 2: so stuffed with poor choices such as pay to win and micro transactions and the like, such a decimation of a good name (the Generals part that is), such a non starter that even EA gave up with it!

Actually, I am gonna have to change my vote, as I didn't actually play Ashes cricket, though it is obviously awful. I did however live through Ride To Hell.... As Yahtzee put it "this is our Plan 9 From Outer Space"

Definitely BF4 for me. Loved BF3, had 150ish hours on it but just can't get into BF4 without feeling like I wanna string myself up. It's just too chaotic and unskilful imo, basically favours people playing like srubs. Don't really like the design/layout of any of the maps either so they probably don't help the cause. Kinda regret spending £30 on it...
