Hi there i rarely post threads on here but thought it might be worth asking the font of all motors knowledge.
Since the snowfall in december (not sure if this has any bearing on it at all)my audi has been lacking serious low down torque and not boosting till around 2.5k (should be from 1.2 peaking at 1.9).It's also taken a huge hit in mpg, usually my 18 mile trip to work I return 50mpg now I am seeing 38-39.
I have done some research and vag com'd a log which I can supply if helps. However the log points shows at low rpm the turbo is not reaching specified boost actual boost is much lower and the n75 valve values do not really seem to be trying to help it.
my ideas are either vnt actuator/mechanism siezed due to blocked vanes or a faulty n75 vacuum system
anyone else had similar issues or any ideas?
any ways of testing the n75 manually ?
Added to this vag-com shows no fault codes.
regards
Andy
