Steam is auto-updating my installed VTM - do you think this is because I installed the none official patch and Steam thinks the game is out of date?

This only happened when I tried to run it today and it told me it needed to update to improve the file structure or something but now it's downloading a 160MB update!?
 
Wow, this game is buggy.

Doors are a complete farce, they open and close on you so you often get stuck in thin air... happened a few times now so I lose my place and have to reload from previous save.

I just got stuck in a bloody lift, the doors opened and then closed. That was that, wouldn't open again and the lift controls didn't function. Hilarious.

I dont know, but you can set it not to update. If you're using an official patch, i'd recommend doing that.

I had similar issues, I think it may be down to framerate. As much as I'm loathe to recommend it, you may find vsync helps. Also quicksaving before you go through doors, lol :)
