Van needed for double mattress

I'm planning to hire van but I don't want to drive a LWB. Will a medium sized SWB be big enough to fit a standard double mattress
Such as the Vauxhall Vivaro?

This is the largest item I need to move.

It's only going to cost me £35 with enterprise.. I don't want to spend anymore than that.

Measure the mattress then look at the maximum loads that the vans can take?

Have you compared the van load space to the mattress size? Or is it too early for such thought?

I've gotten them into a SWB Transit before no problem if that helps. In fact we got a kingsize into one as well.

I will have to measure tonight then. I was under the assumption that standard UK double mattresses were the same size. Whoops. I was just hoping someone may have had experience with this.

UK standard double mattress size is 137 x 190 cm / 54" x 75" / 4'6" x 6'3

That was the peace of mind I needed haha. I just don't want to damage the mattress

Haha! I couldn't fold it. It destroys the mattress and I couldn't afford to buy a new one
