We're off to look at/buy a fridge freezer and an electric cooker for our house to be tomorrow.

We need a fridge freezer with decent sized compartments, and it must be silver. Price upto say £300.

The cooker needs to be silver aswell, and have a double oven. Must be fully electric as we don't have a gas point in the kitchen. Price upto £500.

Advice on what makes are good, and what ones are worth avoiding would be good. We like the look of the Zanussi range of cookers, but are they much cop? Sorry for this thread, boring as watching paint dry, but necessary all the same.

Got a 55/60cm double gaz oven, by Zanussi. I've been impressed by it's features and build quality alone. :cool:

2 years, £150 second hand.

Model number is ZCG 7900X.

BTW, be aware that I did say it was gas in my original post...not gaz. ;O

Just ordered this, 5 year parts waranty and only £415 its an under the counter oven but they do others, aparently the build quality and customer service is excellent but not many places sell them so hard to see one in the flesh.

Fell in love with a NEFF but can't justify the cost :(
