Comments like this got real boring real quick. If you look up the figures for the deficit you will see it jumped massively in 2008 during the global banking crisis, which can not be attributed to the Labour government alone. Before that it was relatively stable, and in fact the highest it had been before 2008 was during John Major's conservative government. Austerity measures are needed and the deficit does need to be reduced, but please don't kid yourself that this is all labour's fault and the conservatives/libdems are the knights in shining armor riding through to fix this country. There is a convoluted right-wing agenda behind the cuts.

I am furious that the government has decided to steal more money from me. They are already taking £10000 a year from me and now they want an extra £1000. They won't be happy until we are all dependant on the government for everything and there will be no one left for them to steal from.
I am going to start an anti-taxation movement in the uk. Only a matter of time, we can have real tax protests, not like the government run protests where people are protesting for more taxes and more government.
