"Vauxhall. Put the fun back into driving."

Yes that is too little, it is the wrong side of 200/ton which is the lower limit of fast enough, with 250/ton being the acceptable daily point for me, and 300-350/ton being the ideal point for daily street use.

what do you actually drive rypt, I'm hazarding a guess your personal car doesnt actually meet your "acceptable daily point", and do you base these figures on any real world experience or gran turismo?

I'd also like to know what he drives..... Pretty sure its an MR2. Sorry if Im wrong.

When I had my CTR I used to go on drives with an owners club and one of the members turned up with a Corsa VXR. We drove with DC5s, DC2s, many EP3s, Tims EK9 and an Astra diesel Van (that hounded an Evo all afternoon lol). He kept up with us no problem along the tight b roads we had our fun on. Obviously on more open road it would have a harder time but nothing. The driver had a great time just like the rest of us, and that's what counts. It looked like a capable fun little car from where I was sitting.

Oh right, so you can't actually get the car at that price.

Which makes me wonder why are you saying they are £17k and comparing them to the Vauxhall Corsa VXR when they are infact closer to £35,000!

Doesn't matter how much a grey import is ... all it shows is how overpriced some cars and segments are in Europe

Grey import?

What's the point of your arguement? Can you buy a Corsa VXR in the USA? No. Can you buy a Ford Mustang V6 2011 in the UK for £17k? No, you can for nearly double it though.

I will freely admit that I have found everything I've owned to day underpowered, which includes a MK2 MR2 and MK3 one now.

The MK2 was "OK" for what it was, but if Toyota gave it MK3 handling then the potential would be much higher.

The MK3 handles great, and I got it with the intention of taking it to the powel level I wan, but have since fallen out of love with the car.

Just... wow at literally everything rypt posts.

This!

I've just had a good little chuckle a rypt going off on a car that he has never driven.

For the record, the Corsa VXR is a fun car to drive around a track or on some B roads. But would you want to own one? Probably not.

Also a Fiesta 1.25 is probably fun to drive around a track aswell. You don't have to drive fast to have fun. The fun part is throwing these cars around corners.

So you drive a 140bhp (?) rear wheel drive roadster......
