Hi Peeps,

Please can you help me decide on what I should make tonight for my dinner, Ive had enough off meat so want a veggie dish...

It should take 45mins - 1 hr to cook...

Please let me know

thanks for your help

Lentil Curry

375g Lentils - washed
1 onion
1 Pint Water
Bouillon Powder (vegetable Powder)

Chop onion
Add lentils, and onion to pan
Add boiling water, stir in vege powder - cook for 10 minutes or until lentils are nearly cooked.

Add 1 x tin chopped tomatoes
Add 3 tsp Curry powder
Cook for a further 10 - 20 minutes depending on life factors and hunger and job done.

This is coming from memory, but it's almost like that.

sure im up for pasta, perhaps penne as i like that best...

keep em coming peeps

thanks

Pasta [penne for you, fusilli for me] - WHOLEMEAL
Red or green pesto
Small amount of butter
Grated cheese to taste - put this on the pasta in the saucepan after you have drained it and swirl it all around
Tabasco if it's your thing

Go to Sainsburys. Buy some Sainsbury's Green Pesto.

Go home. Wack on some pasta. After draining pour some olive oil on it and stir in a few spoonfuls of pesto.

Job done!

the other day in asda they were selling fresh pasta, 1 quid, pots of fresh herby type ratatouille for 1 quid.

i had some last night. was the largest plate of food I have eaten in ages. for 2 quid.

could have easily fed 2 people with a side salad.

pasta, boil for 1 minute.
sauce, heat for 4-5 minutes.

mix and eat.

dont think I have had any meat for 2 days. tonight I will need something more substancial I think.

edit:
the pasta was spinich and something, more like ravaoli
