Hi all,

I bought a HP Envy x360 which was advertised to have "AMD Radeon™ Vega M Graphics Integrated"

Now i have it says it has Vega 8 Graphics. I went for this laptop as I thought that Vega M was superior as quite a few benchmarks says so:

Have I been sold a pup? I thought if it was the M it would be much better BUT is the Vega 8 considered to be part of the Vega M family? I can find very little info....

This is the chart I used to decide and the Vega M is much higher up

Looking into this more the official spec does say Vega M..

HP ENVY x360 - 15-bq150na

Could this have been an option extra? i.e it lists the best GFX card available?

So ignore what you think Vega M means. It is simply mobile Vega graphics which could be any of the ones you have listed.

The much higher performance Vega M GL/GH only come with Intel processors and are in very few models. If you want to know which chips, it's in the wikipedia link below.

The laptop you have mentioned has an AMD Ryzen 2500U CPU with integrated graphics. The graphics it has is Vega 8.
