Looking at going to Vegas next week. Thinking at staying at Bally's or Treasure Island. The latter more expensive but looks more interesting. Anyone stayed at them?

Or any other you would recommend? I've stayed in Luxor, Excalibur and Imperial Palace (a right dump!), so ideally want a different one.

if you have a large budget go for the Wynn or the Encore. Stayed there for 3 mights and it was awesome. Avoid the Pink Flamingo though, stayed there also and it was like being in a cheap B&B in Blackpool

I stayed at the Flamingo and quite liked it, wasn't very luxurious but price and location were excellent IMO.

I never really care to much where I stay in Vegas as I am rarely in my hotel; it's just a bed and shower - not much else is needed!

That said I still clear of Circus Circus end - I tend to stay in Excalibur as my friend has a rep there so we get it cheap - but that general area is all good. I would love to stay at the Wynn but it's not worth the cost for the time I spent in the room.

I would say that most of the hotels there are pretty nice though, again avoiding the circus circus end... anything between Wynn/Encore to Excalibur

+1 for the Wynn, stayed there for 3 nights in December, it is amazing, casino very good and not as busy as the more well known places, amazing restaurants and shops but being as good as it is, it comes with a price.

Stayed at Treasure Island for 10 nights, good quality hotel, great location. My brother has stayed at planet hollywood/ph, and said that is decent as well.

To be honest I'd aim for most of the ones going from The Wynn to PH, that central bit is a pretty decent part of the strip and easy walk to most things. All the hotels looked decent.

New york isnt very good, mgm is big but getting a bit run down now, bally is good! Or paris liked both of them! Can recommend
