Vegetarian Restaurant Suggestions

It's my partners 30th coming up and I'd like to book in to somewhere worthwhile in London(ish) - could make a weekend of it depending on location.

Are there any highly regarded restaurants that would be worth a mention?
Can solely vegetarian venues gain Michelin stars?
I've always fancied a place that pairs wine with the courses too, so if that could be part of it then great :)

Pied a terre. I went last year for my birthday and it was fabulous. It’s small so service is very good, relaxed and friendly. Great food, healthy wine measures.
My partner had a full vegan tasting menu whilst I had meat and they were fine with that.
Oh and it’s starred. I think it’s London’s longest held starred restaurant?
We went to the London cocktail club afterwards which was a nice contrast and was good fun.

Edit, as I posted that link I see my assumption was correct!

Also worth looking at (if you can’t get a table at Pied): Pollen Street Social, again did a vegan menu for her. Very good, but I felt her menu was a bit of an afterthought. Best espresso martini I’ve ever had.

Good Michelin restaurants would likely be able to accommodate vegetarian alternatives.
We went to L’Ortolan the other week (we had a voucher, it was bloody expensive) and my partner has to be gluten free at the moment and they made her the appropriate alternatives so vegetarian dishes I suspect could be provided if needed.

Whilst I feel like a starred restaurant would be able to accommodate a vegetarian, every restaurant (for the most part) that we have been in, the vegetarian side of things is always just that, on the side. I'd like to take her to somewhere where it is front and centre of the menu.

I double checked with her and I misremembered. She said pollen street was amazing, it was Pidgin which did her a veggie menu that wasn’t great.

Gauthier is also worth a look at. I’ve not been but it’s meant to be great. I’ve eaten at other places he puts his name (the plant based Sushi place is great).
