Howdy.

Have just fitted a new fuel rail and different injectors to my car, it is now building too much pressure in the fuel tank, with the old setup it used to build pressure but i wasn't all the fussed about it - but now it's a worry to me.

What is the best way to vent the tank? I've got an old vent pipe that used to connect to the old engine that is currently blocked off, you reckon i'm ok to just uncap that and feed it into the induction system before the throttle butterfly?

Yeah, that's what car manufacturers do anyway, but they usually have the vent pipe on an electric solenoid which opens when the ignition is on, so the fumes aren't venting with the ignition switched off.

Ok that makes sense. I *might* have a solenoid suitable kicking about, i'll wire it in so that it's only open when the igniton is on.
